The Moon Valley Maple Story
In the early 1990’s a small sugar bush was started with about 600 trees which produced about 90 gallons of syrup each year. After the Ice Storm of ‘98 maple syrup production was at a standstill until the Monette Family purchased the mountain in 2011.
During the 2012-2013 ski season Moon Valley Maple was born on the slopes of Titus Mountain Family Ski Center in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. State-of-the-art processes are used from beginning to end to ensure both the quality & consistency of our all-natural product. Our sugar bush is blessed with pure mountain air, well-drained soil and a gradient that is ideal to support sap collection from over 11,000 taps on the mountain.
Moon Valley Maple now produces over 4,000 gallons of maple syrup each year. We invite you to try our maple syrup and share it with family & friends.
